Spring 2021 residents selected

We are thankful to all the artists who shared their ideas with us and applied for our Spring 2021 residency programme! We received 58 applications from talented and dedicated artists coming from 29 countries, working in different fields from photography to performance art. Since we can offer a limited number of residency places to artists the selection process was very challenging. After careful and thoughtful consideration of all applications submitted the Selection committee has chosen 14 applicants who are granted the opportunity to spend a one month stay at Rucka Artist Residency.

We are very hopeful that spring will come with less restrictions in the battle with the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, we will hold two residencies this spring to get the artistic energy flowing once again in Rucka Artists Residency.

The residents selected for the Rucka Artist Residency programme of Spring 2021 are:

Indra Gleizde (Netherlands/ Latvia)
Javier Rodriguez (United Kingdom)
Aleks Slota (Germany)
Sabīne Šnē (Latvia)
Johan Hovinga (Netherlands)
Viktorija Eksta (Latvia)
Morgane Clément-Gagnon (Canada)
Nataliya Ilchuk (Ukriane/ France)
Anne Fehres & Luke Conroy (Netherlands/ Australia)
Laura Fiorio (Germany/ Italy)
Marika Krasina un Anton Kryvulia (Belarus)
Charlotte Thömmes (Germany)
Tjorven Bryunnel (Belgium)

We look forward to welcoming our new residents and we wish every success to all the artists who applied for the programme!
